1. Lake Tekapo   - 8:00 AM -

The meeting point for our tour is either the car park at the Tekapo Four Square supermarket or the public parking area next to the supermarket.

2. Peter’s lookout  - 9:00 AM -

One of the best views of Lake Pukaki and Aoraki(Mt Cook),and the surrounding Southern Alps is absolutely stunning, making it a must-visit spot.

3. Mt Cook Village   - 9:30 to 9:45 AM - 

We will drop you off at your accommodation within the village. Please leave your drop-off location in the booking form.

- Itinerary -

1. Hermitage Hotel   - 3:00 PM*  - 

Meeting point is at the bus parking at the 2nd level behind Hermitage Hotel. If you prefer a different pickup location, please leave a note in the 'Special Requirements' section in the booking form.

2. Lake Pukaki   - 4:00 PM -

A brief stop is scheduled at Lake Pukaki, allowing time for taking photos and visiting the Alpine Salmon Shop.

3. Lake Tekapo   - 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM - 

The group returns to the village between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm. Please ask our driver if you require a drop-off at your accommodation.

*We may adjust our departure time from 3:00 PM to either 3:15 PM or 3:30 PM on the day. We will notify you of any changes via email or phone call.

3. Tasman Glacier viewpoint   - 9:45 AM -  

For a memorable experience, consider exploring a short walking track offering magnificent views of the Tasman Glacier and Tasman Lake. Please note that while the track is a relatively easy walk, it does involve ascending approximately 300 steps. If you prefer an alternative, we also offer the Tasman River Track, which is a very easy walk.

4. Hooker Valley track   - 10:45 AM - 

You are free to walk at your own pace on this self-guided walk. The average walking time is 3 to 3.5 hours. At any time, our driver can take you to the village after you finish hiking. Enjoy your free time in the village until the return time. If you are not very keen on long day hikes, alternative short walking tracks are available around Mount Cook village.

5. Hermitage Hotel   - 3:00 PM -

Please gather in front of the hotel at 3 pm to return to Lake Tekapo. If you are engaged in another activity or require pickup from a different location, please inform the driver on the day of the tour.

6. Lake Pukaki   - 4:00 PM -  

A brief stop is scheduled at Lake Pukaki, allowing time for taking photos and visiting the Alpine Salmon Shop.

7. Lake Tekapo   - 4:30 - 5:00 PM -

The group returns to the village around 5:00 pm.

- Itinerary -

The shuttle operates once a day departing from the village at 9:45am.
We pick you up from your accommodations within the village and make our way to the Mount John Observatory. Upon reaching the mountain top at around 10:10am, you will have approximately 1.5 hours of free time.
You have a time to relax and unwind at the Astro Cafe or take a walk around the observatory and summit circuit track.
Shuttle returns to the village around 11:50am.
